One-day expo on the Zentokuji temple wall, Fukagawa-Shiryoukandori-Shotengai street.
In 2013 I went back to Sendai Airport (SDJ) to take pictures of the recovery after the 2011 Tsunami. I chose vibrant colors and atypical viewpoints to document the newly found normality around the rather approachable airport.
The walls and main buildings of the Zentokuji buddhist temple are of recent construction. In its almost 400 year history Zentokuji 善徳寺 has recovered from several disasters, most recent the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake and the WWII firebombings -in both occasions it was totally destroyed.
